July is a hybrid month in Italy: our feet are still in the office, but our heads are already on vacation.
Though it’s still too early to start packing, who says we can’t treat ourselves to a weekend trip or an evening out to help us unwind a bit?
Here are the most interesting events offered by our wineries during the month of July.
CINEMA UNDER THE STARS – CINQUE QUINTI (PIEDMONT)
Do you find yourself thinking: “Oh, how I’ve missed going to the movies!”?
We get it. But we have great news.
The folks at Cinque Quinti in Monferrato not only offer the screening of a film in their beautiful garden, but do so under a starry sky and accompanied by an aperitif of Monferrato wines and local products.
Entry is free and the first order includes: an appetizer basket for one person and a glass of Mariulin, Dedalo, Solista, or Carisa, for the price of €20.
The films and the menu are still being decided, but they’re already taking reservations and will be expecting you on July 10th for a festive evening that starts at 7:30pm (the film will begin at 10pm, but without the 18 minutes of advertisements like at the theater).
We can definitely say that “Dreams are wishes, in the Monferrato park!”.

THE VIGNA CUNIAL TRIO (EMILIA-ROMAGNA)
Vigna Cunial offers not one, not two, but three festive evenings in the land of the Colli di Parma DOC.
They’ll be expecting you every Wednesday with an aperitif in keeping with the theme “The Best Vintages”: a tasting that explores the various vintages of the winery’s best organic labels.
Meanwhile, on Friday evenings, they’ll be offering a tasting of sparkling wines at sunset: perfect for kicking off a relaxing weekend.
And finally, every Saturday evening will be tinted pink, or rather rosè, with an aperitif dedicated to the various vintages of the “Vigna Cunial Rosato” organic rosè and accompanied by delicious local organic products.

FOOD TRUCKS, ART, AND GOURMET DINNERS – PODERE PALAZZO (EMILIA-ROMAGNA)
There’s a lot to choose from at Podere Palazzo thanks to their numerous weekly appointments.
Every Sunday there’s the Sunday at the Podere event, with outdoor tastings of wines amid rows of grape vines.
What’s the surprise? Each time a different Food Truck will be waiting to serve a diverse assortment of street foods from Romagna and beyond.
If you’re more of the sit-down dinner type, then Thursday evenings are for you. After an itinerant tasting amid the rows of grape vines, delight your palate with a gourmet dinner prepared by a different chef and restaurant every time.
Meanwhile, every Tuesday at the Podere an evening dedicated to tastings of the winery’s wines is organized, accompanied by artistic, cultural, poetic, and musical entertainment with the region of Emilia-Romagna tying it all together.
Reservations are required. For more information please click here.
DINNERS IN THE VINEYARD – CELLAGRANDE (PIEDMONT)
The “Dinners in the Vineyard” are a long-standing event at CellaGrande.
Every Wednesday evening in July they’ll be expecting you for a spectacular evening among the rows of Erbaluce grapevines:
a location immersed in flavors and fragrances that convey the varietal’s long history.
The dinner will be entirely homemade by their chef.
It’s the perfect evening to spend with your closest friends, your soulmate, or anyone you’d like to share such a magical atmosphere with.
