Have you ever thought how difficult it is for a winemaker to communicate with his consumers?

A lot of big words and a lack of product knowledge can be seen like an unscalable wall at times. The outcome? No party benefits from such a state of affairs.

For this reason, we’re proud to bring you our most recent project, developed working together with several of the most prestigious Italian vineyards and winemakers.

We are creating a national network for bringing people and vineyards closer together using a new communications tool that’s simpler, performance-enhanced and easy to use: welcome to the VINHOOD Wineries Project.

The Wineries Project helps us communicate our mission more effectively in this intricate taste ecosystem.

Our contribution consists in bringing together various players in the supply chain – spanning winemakers and consumers – helping them speak a shared language that’s simple and within everyone’s reach.

Vinhood has always had the purpose at heart of acting as a facilitator in the complex communication chain within the wine world and, thanks to the Wineries Project we have brought winemakers and consumers even closer together, with the aim of providing an all-round view.

WHAT THE WINERIES PROJECT IS ALL ABOUT

The wineries taking part in the project will have our Taste Expert solution available on their website and e-commerce sites that includes tests targeted at guiding users in their choice of the ideal wine, partnering them also in buying the wines that best suit their tastes, in addition to offering tips on matching food and wines.

The tests were designed to offer personalized wine suggestions quickly and easily, allowing people to confidently choose their wines on their own. The Taste Expert is a key player in on-line sales where there is no real sales help and purchases are often dictated by mere price considerations.

In this way, new users may approach the winemaker in a more friendly and fun way, and  regular customers, too, will be encouraged to try new labels they hadn’t looked at before.

So, it’s a tool that doesn’t eliminate the human factor and the distinctive features of each winemaker but, rather, it enhances the communication values, putting them within everyone’s reach.

But, there’s still more to discover …

ADVANTAGES FOR WINE PRODUCERS, MAKING THE CHOICE EASIER FOR CUSTOMERS

By taking one of our tests from the widget displayed on our website (www.vinhood.com) the user will obtain as results those winemakers taking part in the project, with a breakdown by #Character.

Once the label has been selected from among those suggested, the user is automatically directed to the e-commerce site of the winemaker for making any purchases, if desired.

Vinhood also acts as a showcase for many winemakers that want to make themselves known on the web, but, likewise, want to keep direct contact with their customers. Moreover, they want to learn more about customer taste preferences and choice of wine labels.

Taking part in the Wineries Project doesn’t just mean using the Taste Expert but opens the door to exploiting all Vinhood ecosystem of services. Including taking part in our digital and person-to-person events, our Academy, communication on our social media channels and in our magazine.

We understand that wines are all different, and what better than sipping a glass of wine, without the stress of having to choose, guided by an Expert who will advise you on the wines best suited to your palate or for pairing with your favorite dishes.

THE WINERIES THAT, TO DATE, HAVE SIGNED ON FOR THE PROJECT

The wine producers  that have already signed on and will be signing on in the upcoming months for the Vinhood Taste District have been selected based on the quality of their products, and they are winemakers that respect environmental resources, with special consideration for sustainability.  We are really proud to have them on board with us!

Cinque Quinti

A fledgling vineyard in Piedmont, where five brothers work together to realize a common dream: to make Monferrato and its Infernot soar to the top ranks of Italian excellences, while, obviously, tasting a good glass of wine.

Mazzolada

On buying the prestige Mazzolada wine estate in the province of Venezia in 1985, the Genovese family inherited a tradition and a thousand-year culture in the production of fine wines, witnessed by the numerous prizes won at wine competitions.

Vigna Cunial

Inspired by an idea that came to Gianmaria Cunial, a “chemist” who was fed up with chemicals and pesticides, Vigna Cunial is destined to be his on-cloud-nine project. A place where nature is respected through organic wines that recount the thousand-year history of the Emilia region.

Podere Palazzo

An unpretentious and robust story about a well-cultivated vineyard in Romagna, where creativity, passion and respect for the local area come together in organic wines that are disarmingly elegant.

Marchesi di Barolo

Now managed by the Abbona family, the count, Marchese di Barolo, however, takes the merit for having “invented” the wine that has endured the test of time in Italy: the Barolo. Uniqueness, innovation and exceptional quality are the values which, still today, drive one of the most prestigious vineyard estates in the world.

La Scolca

Blond, refreshing but also sophisticated: this is the Cortese di Gavi wine which bears a striking resemblance to its winemaker, Chiara Soldati, who, at the La Solca winery exalts its numerous nuances and #Characters.
